The first part of a popular-science book dedicated to the subject of scale, presenting the inconceivable, distant and vast in an approachable manner. Photographs from NASA, JPL, ESA, Hubble telescopes, Chandra, Spitzer have been carefully selected. The explanatory illustrations, and a bookmark embroidered with the words “2 997 924 580 meters will have been passed by light while you read this” compliment the project.
Pierwsza część popularnonaukowej książki dotyczącej skali. W przystępny sposób opisuje to, co niewyobrażalne, wielkie i odległe – kosmos. W środku starannie dobrane fotografie z NASA, JPL, ESA, teleskopów Hubble’a, Chandry, Spitzera itd. Ilustracje tłumaczące zjawiska zachodzące we wszechświecie oraz haftowana zakładka z napisem: „2 997 924 580 metrów pokona światło w momencie, gdy czytasz to zdanie” uzupełniają całość projektu.
