Design for the “Finding Bones” photo book which presents newly-discovered works by Gray Crawford. It is an anthology of images personifying the creative spirit that dominated the artistic scene in Los Angeles. Southern California in the early 1970’s was a blend of waves – those of the ocean and the concrete freeways which passed over the dynamically-changing cultural climate below, during which some Angelinos questioned the assumptions and definitions of art. Crawford chooses strict means of expression and uses significant elements of composition, building his own language.
Projekt fotobooka Finding Bones, który przedstawia nowo odkryte prace autorstwa Greya Crawforda. Jest to antologia zdjęć uosabiających twórczego ducha, który dominował na scenie artystycznej w Los Angeles. Południowa Kalifornia we wczesnych latach 70. XX wieku była mieszaniną fal, morza i betonowych autostrad omijających ciągle zmieniający się klimat kulturowy, a jej mieszkańcy kwestionowali założenia definicji sztuki. Crawford wybiera surowe środki wyrazu i wykorzystuje elementy kompozycji do budowania własnego języka.
